Default Backups

How often do you back your stuff up?

For my personal site, I will back up once a month, unless something major is changed. I always end up telling people to back their stuff up, just in case is alot better than "oops, I broke it".

For our hosting clients we have daily and weekly backups, but still advise them to make their own - sometimes more is better, the last thing you want is "oops".

I back my personal stuff up weekly. But like you, my hosting clients are backed up twice a day. I also recommend to them to back up their own data. Just in case. I'm not responsible for their data. Over on WebHostingTalk, a lot of people lose their stuff and all, and people just tell them that you should have kept a backup. Always keep a backup, and even better, have it offsite. Your computer could break too, and then if your backup is on that pc, then you are still dead in the water.
